Project LUNA Safer Venues Scheme

This scheme is designed to help everyone feel safe and welcome in our community. Once your staff have completed our training, your venue will be officially accredited as a Safe Space and receive a sticker to display proudly, letting the community know they’re in a supportive environment.

We’ll also provide a simple reporting form so that, if an incident does occur, we can offer support to both the individuals involved and your venue. We understand that even with the best intentions, things can happen. This initiative isn’t about punishment, it’s about working together to help you become the safest, most inclusive venue possible.

A practical training designed to help bar staff create a welcoming and safe environment for transgender and nonbinary patrons. Through real-life scenarios and clear guidance, staff will learn how to respectfully interact with transgender guests, recognise and prevent discrimination or harassment, and respond effectively to safety concerns. This training promotes inclusivity, legal compliance, and a positive experience for all customers.

This training is completely FREE and delivered by our amazing team of volunteers. We ask for just three hours of your time, but if that’s not workable, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
